Articling Program

To maximize your articling experience we provide four rotations over your 10-month placement, each in a different department. The system is flexible, allowing you to pursue areas of personal interest and to follow a file from beginning to end.

How to Apply

Please send your resumé with transcripts of your first and second year grades, together with the telephone numbers and addresses of at least two references, and a short (10 pages maximum) writing sample such as a memo, a case brief or an essay by the deadline for applications set by the Law Society's Recruitment Procedures for Ottawa-Carleton. If a short sample is not available you may provide us with an excerpt from a lengthier piece.

The schedule for the articling recruitment process for 2011-2012 articling session is as follows:

• All applications must be submitted by Monday, May 17, 2010;
• Call Day for offers Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Offers will remain open until 8 AM on June 16, 2010.
