Brian joined the Business Law Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2017, two years after completing his summer and articling terms with the firm, having practiced corporate law at a large national law firm in the interim. Brian graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa in 2015. During law school Brian was a research assistant for Professor Jennifer Bond and volunteered his time to assist with refugee law issues.
Since first joining the firm as a summer student in 2014, Brian has acquired a wide range of practical legal experience. In addition to assisting in various matters in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial law, Brian has assisted in matters in the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Brian has served for over 13 years as a reservist in the Canadian Army. He was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan from 2008-2009.
