Marie-France joined the Litigation Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. in 2011, following her successful summer and articling terms with the firm. In 2010 she graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) and now specializes in civil litigation and police law with the firm.

During law school Marie-France acquired significant practical experience through her participation in the Gale Cup Competitive Moot Competition (criminal and constitutional law), through an internship with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and through her volunteer work with the Tenant Division of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic.  This practical experience, along with her ability to serve clients in both official languages has made Marie-France an excellent addition to the Litigation Group.

Marie-France also embodies the firm’s commitment to the community. Over the course of the last 10 years she has been involved with ProBono Students Canada, the Women’s Legal Education Action Fund’s  “No means no” campaign, and fundraising efforts for the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope and the Relay for Life.
